Nine Dash For Cash Futurity Trials Dominate Saturday Program at Lone Star Park

GRAND PRAIRIE, TX—SEPTEMBER 19, 2019—Two-time graded stakes winner Trump My Record is one of 89 2-year-olds entered in Saturday’s 400-yard Dash For Cash Futurity (G2) trials at Lone Star Park.

The son of first-crop sire Apollitical Blood will be making his first start since suffering his only career loss, after stumbling at the start, in the $474,750 TQHA Sale Futurity (RG3) on July 27.

Conditioned by trainer Eddie Sanchez, Trump My Record rattled off five straight wins earlier in the year including the $459,700 Sam Houston Futurity(G2) and the $253,070 Harrah's Entertainment Futurity(G3) at Louisiana Downs.

Jockey J.L. Sanchez III has been named aboard the colt that will start from post-position 2 in the seventh (Race 11) of eight trials. Owned by Cruz E. Nava, Trump My Record has earned $323,502 this season.

Bred in Texas by Fulton Quien Sabe Ranches LP, from the Pyc Paint Your Wagon mare Breck N Records, Trump My Record was a $10,700 purchase at the 2018 TQHA Sale in San Antonio.

Trainer Eddie D. Willis will saddle Grade 1-placed Jesse D in the opening trial (Race 4) for owner Larry Rice. The son of multiple stakes sire Jess Louisiana Blue is making his first start since finishing third in the $963,100 Heritage Place Futurity(G1) at Remington Park June 1.

Regular rider Jimmy Brooks has been named to ride the sorrel gelding from post-position 1. Flag Ranch LLC bred the $130,874 earner in Oklahoma from the Tempting Dash mare Sonny D. He has compiled a (4) 1-1-1 record.

The 10 fastest qualifiers will meet in the $400,000-est. Dash For Cash Futurity final on October 5.
