FARMINGTON, NM—MAY 7, 2019—Rarin, a 7-year-old son of champion Inseperable owned by Olaya Munoz Duarte, is one of 10 aged sprinters entered in Friday’s 400-yard, $50,000 La Plata Stakes at SunRay Park.

Rarin will be making his first official start since September 29, when the Oklahoma-bred gelding scored a 1 1/4-length victory in the 400-yard, $50,000 James Isaac Hobbs Stakes (G3) at Zia Park. Rarin is coming off of a 6-year-old campaign during which he earned $76,820 from six races.

The 5-2 morning-line favorite, Rarin drew post 9 and will be ridden by Martin Felix for trainer Robert Sanderson.
