GRAND PRAIRIE, TX—OCTOBER 5, 2018—Larry J. Boudreaux’s Mpshinning will risk his four-race win streak from the rail post in Saturday’s 400-yard, $405,585 Dash For Cash Futurity (G2) at Lone Star Park.

The fastest qualifier, Mpshinning made his local debut with a dominating two-length victory in the second of 12 Dash For Cash Futurity trials on September 22. The Mr Piloto colt’s current streak includes a neck win as the 2-1 favorite in the 350-yard, $154,000 Gillespie County Fair Futurity on August 26.

Luis Vivanco will ride Mpshinning for trainer Adrian Huitron.

Also on Saturday, a full field of 10 3-year-olds has been entered back in the 440-yard, $163,400 Dash For Cash Derby (G3).

Cartel Cupid, the fastest qualifier, is a homebred Corona Cartel gelding trained by Blane Wood for owners Randy and Sandy Coleman. Cartel Cupid has earned $144,755 from four outs this season, and his resume includes a second-place finish, three-quarters of a length behind winner Jess Move You, in the 400-yard, $759,000 Ruidoso Derby (G1) at Ruidoso Downs on June 9.

Cartel Cupid drew post 2 and will be ridden by Ricky Ramirez.
