EVANSTON, WY—AUGUST 17, 2018—Melody A. Olsen’s Femme Fatalia, a California-bred daughter of Favorite Cartel and the fastest qualifier, heads a field of nine 2-year-olds entered back in Sunday’s 350-yard, $34,900 Wyoming Downs Futurity.
Trained by Glade Van Tassell, Femme Fatalia is coming off of a one-length victory in the first of five trials on August 4. The filly has earned $19,877 from three outs in the Intermountain region, with her only loss being a second-place finish, a neck behind winner JR Tinkup, in the 350-yard, $92,000 Beehive Futurity (R) at Laurel Brown Racetrack near Salt Lake City.
Cordarelton Benn will ride Femme Fatalia from post 5.
