AURORA, CO—JULY 12, 2018—Three stakes, topped by the 330-yard, $75,000 Cherry Creek Futurity (R) for Colorado-breds, are scheduled for Arapahoe Park’s nine-race program on Saturday.
Ten 2-year-olds have been entered back in the Cherry Creek Futurity, topped by Hugo Barron-Sierra’s Jess Un Sies Mas. A homebred son of Apollitical Jess and the fastest qualifier, the colt broke his maiden with a one-length victory in the last of four trials on June 29.
Jess Un Sies Mas drew post 5 and will be ridden by Malouly Rodriguez.

Shine Your Wagon, a gelded son of Pyc Paint Your Wagon owned by Margarito Montalvo, drew post 5 for Saturday’s 350-yard, $55,000 Lucille Rowe Derby (R) for Colorado-bred 3-year-olds.
Trained by Hipolito Michel-Valverde, Shine Your Wagon broke his maiden with a one-length win in the first of two trials on June 29. Roberto Valero will ride the gelding on Saturday.

A field of eight sprinters has been entered in Saturday’s 350-yard, $15,000 Dolls Prodigy Stakes. Perkin Desire, a 4-year-old Desirio mare owned and trained by Roberto Gomez, drew post 8 and will be ridden by Jhaciel Soto. Perkin Desire will be shortening in distance off of her neck victory at odds of 12-1 in the 400-yard, $15,000 Leo Beaudash Stakes at Arapahoe Park on June 30.
