VINTON, LA—JULY 4, 2018—Recent stakes winners Eye N Capo and Zenergetic are among the eight aged sprinters entered in Friday’s 400-yard, $50,000 Miss Polly Classic Stakes (G3) at Delta Downs.

Eye N Capo will be making his first-ever start at Delta Downs off of his three-quarter length victory as the odds-on favorite in the 440-yard, $50,000 Sam Houston Classic Stakes (G2) at Sam Houston Race Park on May 12.

Josue Ponce trains the 4-year-old Capo de Capi gelding for owner Ruben Garcia Montemayor.

Eye N Capo drew post 3 and will be ridden by Jesse Levario.

Zenergetic is a 5-year-old daughter of Dominyun trained by Trey Ellis for owner the Zenergetic Group. The mare will be stretching out in distance off of her one-length victory in the 350-yard, $25,000 Mother’s Day Stakes for distaffers at Delta Downs on May 12.

Zenergetic drew the rail post and will be ridden by Luis Vivanco.
