SUNLAND PARK, NM--FEBRUARY 13, 2018--A dozen 3-year-old state-bred runners, topped by graded stakes winners Everybuddys Talkin and Daddys Blushing, have been entered in Sunday’s 400-yard, $85,000 New Mexico Horse Breeders’ Association Stakes (RG2) at Sunland Park.
A brown daughter of Gonna Ro Sham Bo, Everybuddys Talkin is trained by Ricardo Armendariz for owner Eric Pineda. The filly is coming off of a three-quarter length victory in the January 14, 400-yard Shue Fly Stakes (RG2) at Sunland.
Everybuddys Talkin drew post 3 and will be ridden by Raul Herrera.
Daddys Blushing finished second to Everybuddys Talkin in the Shue Fly. Trained by Jackie Riddle for owner Gary W. Hartstack of Houston, Texas, the Big Daddy Cartel gelding has earned $226,554 from seven outs, and his five wins include a half-length score in last year’s 350-yard, $393,000 Mountain Top Futurity (RG3) at Ruidoso Downs.
Daddys Blushing drew post 5 and will be ridden by Francisco Calderon.
