BOOSIER CITY, LA--FEBRUARY 7, 2018--A pair of yearling repurchases from the 2017 summer sale season will head three training races on Friday at Louisiana Downs. First post is 11 am.
The seventeen 2-year-olds entered in the three 220-yard schooling events are eligible to complete in Louisiana Downs' $250,000-est. Grade 3 Harrah's Entertainment Futurity trials on Saturday, March 3. The 300-yard final is set Wednesday, March 21.
Rf Mucho Dinero, a $45,000 Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale repurchase by breeder Rogers Farm, will start in Race 2 for trainer Bruce Bell. Leading rider John Hamilton has been tapped to ride the daughter of leading sire One Famous Eagle from the stakes-placed Separatist mare One Famous Cookie.
This is the immediate family of Grade 3 winner Jess Featureme Quick and the filly's sire, One Famous Eagle, shows up under the third dam.
A $32,000 Heritage Place repurchase, A Dirty Diva, will start in Race 3 for trainer Trey Ellis. Ty Rampy owns the daughter of leading sire Valiant Hero from the Feature Mr Jess mare A Dirty Flick. The second dam is the Grade 1 winner Passem Dirty. Claudio Aguilar is named to ride.
Race 1 will feature the $25,000 Ruidoso Sale graduate Jessdancewithme, a colt by leading sire Mr Jess Perry from the first crop out of stakes-placed Imdancinwithstars by Furyofthewind. Antonio Alberto will ride for owner Elibrando Rodriguez. Javier Contreras is training. The first dam is a half-sister to Grade 1-placed The Printing Press. Champion producer, Grade 2 winner March Darling by Six Fortunes, is the third dam.
