IDAHO FALLS, ID—JULY 21, 2017—A-Arrow Ranch's The Bossgirl, a bay daughter of the Corona Cartel stallion Class Jump and the fastest qualifier, is one of 10 state-bred 2-year-olds entered back in Saturday's 350-yard, $19,125 Idaho Cup Futurity (R) at Sandy Downs.

The Bossgirl broke her maiden with a neck victory as the 8-5 favorite in the first of two trials on July 4. The filly drew post 10 and will be ridden by Nakia Ramirez for trainer Monty Arrossa.

Also on Saturday, 2016 Idaho Cup Futurity winner A Cartel Hustle heads a field of 10 sophomores in the 400-yard, $15,237 Idaho Cup Derby (R).

Trained by Mark Hanson for owners RTM Stables LLC, Larry Chapple, and Dick Wasia, A Cartel Hustle is coming off of a fourth-place finish, two lengths behind winner Movin The Doe, in the 400-yard, $25,000 Bitterroot Derby (R) at this track on June 24. The gelded son of Favorite Cartel drew post 7 and will be ridden by Jesus Canales.
