PHOENIX, AZ—DECEMBER 7, 2016—Cowboys Dynasty, a son of champion FDD Dynasty and the fastest qualifier, is one of 10 juveniles entered back in Sunday’s 400-yard, $59,707 AQRA Turf Paradise Open Futurity.
Owned and trained by Alvaro Monteverde, Cowboys Dynasty is coming off of a neck victory at odds of 9-1 in the last of three trials on November 20. The colt drew post 6 and will be ridden by Jesus Osuna.
Other contenders include Luis H. Gonzalez’s Movin The Doe, the winner of the October 30, 350-yard AQRA President’s Fall Futurity at Turf Paradise. The gelded son of Maknmoves drew post 8 and will be ridden by Emilio Tapia.

Larry Stark’s Jess A Cowboy, a homebred 4-year-old son of the Mr Jess Perry stallion Dejon trained by Omar Lorta, is one of nine aged sprinters entered in Sunday’s 400-yard, $21,000 Mike Hastings Memorial Stakes.
Jess A Cowboy will be dropping in class off of his seventh-place finish in the 440-yard, $350,000 Bank of America Challenge Championship (G1) at Los Alamitos on October 29. The gelding has banked $38,756 from five starts this season.
J. Martin Bourdieu will ride Jess A Cowboy from post 7.
