EDMONTON, ALBERTA—JULY 27, 2015—Flybye 109, a homebred daughter of Special Fly Bye owned and trained by Buckey Stockwell, drew post 3 for the $58,950 Alberta Stallion Stakes Futurity (R), one of two Quarter Horse stakes to be run at Northlands Park on Wednesday.

Flybye 109 broke her maiden with a half-length victory in the first of three trials on July 8. Jose Rocha has been named to ride the filly on Wednesday.

Also on Wednesday, fastest qualifier Streaken Timber is one of 10 sophomores entered back in the 330-yard, $29,603 Alberta Stallion Stakes Derby (R).

A homebred son of First Timber racing for Shirley Laczo, Streaken Timber has won four of five outs this season, including the June 24, $39,000 Alberta Bred Derby (R). The gelding drew post 10 and will be ridden by Tyler Walker for trainer Les Adams.
