SELMA, TX--JULY 7, 2015--Rosa Aguado’s Rpainted Wagon, a Grade 2-winning son of Pyc Paint Your Wagon, is one of 33 3-year-olds entered in Saturday’s Retama Park Derby trials at Retama Park.

Trained by Steven Salazar, Rpainted Wagon is coming off of a neck victory in the 400-yard, $370,000 Heritage Place Derby (G2) at Remington Park in Oklahoma City. The gelding has earned $182,967 from nine starts.

Rpainted Wagon drew post 7 and will be ridden by Jorge Linares in the third of four trials.

Bay Eagle Glory, a One Famous Eagle colt racing for Julio Rodriguez from the barn of Jorge Lopez, drew the rail post in the third heat. Bay Eagle Glory has banked $220,058 from seven outs, and his resume includes a second-place finish to Torts On Fire in last year’s $861,000 Texas Classic Futurity (G1) at Lone Star Park.

The 10 fastest qualifiers will meet in the July 25, $50,000-added Retama Park Derby final.
