SELMA, TX—JULY 6, 2015—Not Holding Back and Noblejesselie Inview, two stakes-placed 2-year-olds, are among the 95 juveniles entered in Friday’s 350-yard Texas Quarter Horse Association Sale Futurity (RG2) trials at Retama Park.

A gelded son of Ivory James owned by Conda Maze and trained by Cindi Keeton, Not Holding Back is coming off of a second-place finish in the 350-yard, $50,000 Ruidoso Juvenile Invitational Stakes at Ruidoso Downs on June 7. The gelding has won one of three races and has banked $13,200.

Not Holding Back will be ridden by Oscar Hernandez from post 9 in the fourth of 10 trials.

Noblejesselie Inview is a homebred son of the Mr Jess Perry stallion Mr Jess Elie racing for Mercy Hinklin’s Horse Farm LLC from the barn of Kenneth Roberts Sr. The gelding ships in from Louisiana, where he ran third, three-quarters of a length behind winner Not Pretty Perry, in the $87,000 Old South Futurity at Delta Downs.

Noblejesselie Inview drew the rail post and will be ridden by Patrick Watson in heat 6.

The 10 fastest qualifiers from Friday’s trials will meet in the July 25, $100,000-added TQHA Sale Futurity final.
