EDMONTON, ALBERTA—JULY 6, 2015—A total of 24 two-year-olds has been entered in Wednesday’s Alberta Stallion Futurity (R) trials at Northlands Park.

The 10 fastest qualifiers from the 330-yard trials will meet in the Alberta Stallion Futurity final on July 29.

Glenn Wills’ Northfork Sizzle, a homebred stakes-placed daughter of Sizzlin Red Corona, is the 5-2 morning-line favorite in the first heat. Trained by George Scott, the filly is coming off of a third-place finish in the 300-yard, $64,000 Alberta Bred Futurity (RG3) at Lethbridge on June 21.

Northfork Sizzle drew post 3 and will be ridden by Andrew Wright.
