Hialeah’s Biscayne Stakes Draws Field of Nine

HIALEAH, FL-JANUARY 27, 2015—A field of nine sprinters has been entered in Sunday’s 250-yard, $25,000 Biscayne Stakes for 3-year-olds at Hialeah Park.

Eat The Fish, a brown daughter of Hard Hitting racing for Denis and Julie Schoenhofer, drew the rail post. Trained by Kalah Welch, the filly is coming off of a second-place finish in the 350-yard, $113,000 Florida Quarter Horse Racing Association Stallion Derby (R) on January 18.

Omar Reyes has been named to ride Eat The Fish in the Biscayne Stakes.

Triple M Farms’ Jess A Rogue is a stakes-winning Heza Fast Dash filly trained by Judd Kearl. The winner of last year’s $84,000 Old South Futurity at Delta Downs in Louisiana, Jess A Rogue is coming off of a third-place run in the 250-yard, $25,000 Mockingbird Stakes at Hialeah on January 4.

Jess A Rogue drew post 6 and will be ridden by Rodrigo Vallejo.
