LOS ALAMITOS, CA—DECEMBER 20, 2014—LEMA Racing Stables’s Another Oatie drew post 5 for Sunday’s 400-yard, $145,850 Southern California Derby (G1) at Los Alamitos.
A sorrel Walk Thru Fire gelding trained by Juan Aleman, Another Oatie posted the fastest qualifying time with his half-length victory in the first of three trials on November 30.
