Sandy Downs will host trials for the Hawthorne Animal Hospital Futurity on Saturday.

IDAHO FALLS, ID—AUGUST 21, 2014—Malonnie, a black daughter of First Down Vike racing for Movin On and trained by Guy Weeks, is one of 14 2-year-olds entered in Saturday’s 350-yard Hawthorne Animal Hospital Futurity at Sandy Downs.

Racing exclusively on the Idaho fair circuit, Malonnie has won two of seven starts and has earned $3,591. She was a finalist in the August 10, $23,000 Oneida County Fair Futurity and June 22 Dutch Masters Futurity at the Jerome fair.

Dallas Erickson will ride Malonnie from post 4 in the first of two trials.

The fastest qualifiers will meet in the $40,000-est. Hawthorne Animal Hospital Futurity final on September 7.
