KENNEWICK, WA—MAY 4, 2018—Charles G. Stojan’s True Copy, a California-bred daughter of TR Dasher trained by William Leech, heads a field of 10 sophomores in Saturday’s 400-yard, $38,700 Adequan Sun Downs Derby Challenge Stakes at Sun Downs.

True Copy is coming off of a 2-year-old campaign during which she earned $38,591 from six outs and scored a half-length victory in the October 21, 400-yard Canada Cup Futurity (R) at Century Downs. The filly drew post 10 and will be ridden by Ricardo Moreno.

The winner of this race will earn a berth in the November 18 Adequan Derby Challenge Championship (G3) at Los Alamitos. The complete lineup, in post position order including jockey assignments:

On Sunday, a field of 10 fillies and mares has been entered back in the 400-yard, $25,110 AQHA Sun Downs Distaff Challenge Stakes.

Hayden Brothers Ranch’s Tickle Ur Fancy, the fastest qualifier, drew post 7 and will be ridden by Eduardo Gutierrez-Sosa for trainer Hector Magallanes. A 5-year-old Oklahoma-bred daughter of the Mr Jess Perry stallion Dominyun, Tickle Ur Fancy brings in a five-race win streak that includes a half-length victory in the 440-yard, $23,535 Portland Meadows Championship Bonus Challenge Stakes on October 22.

The winner of this race will earn a berth in the AQHA Distaff Challenge Championship (G1) at Los Alamitos on November 18. The complete lineup, in post position order including jockey assignments:
