Sun Downs Challenge Sustaining and Late Payments Due April 1

AMARILLO, TX—MARCH 22, 2018—Nominations for two Bank of America Regional Challenge races to be contested at Sun Downs in Kennewick, Washington are due April 1.

A sustaining payment of $800 is due April 1 for the $20,000-added Adequan Derby Challenge. Trials for the 400 yard race, for 3-year-old Challenge enrolled horses, will contested on April 21 and the final is scheduled for May 5.

Horsemen or women may also late pay their Challenge enrolled 3-year-olds into the Sun Downs Adequan Derby Challenge on April 1 for $2,500.

A sustaining payment of $800 is due April 1 for the $13,000-added Distaff Challenge. Trials for the 400 yard race, for 3-year-old & Up Challenge enrolled Fillies and Mares, will contested on April 22 and the final is scheduled for May 6.

Horsemen or women may also late pay their Challenge enrolled 3-year-old & Up Fillies or Mares into the Sun Downs Distaff Challenge on April 1 for $2,500.

The Sun Downs Adequan Derby and Distaff Challenge winners will also earn a starting spot in the Grade 1 Bank of America Challenge Championship to be contested November 17th during the Bank of America Challenge Championships at Los Alamitos Race Course.

The program will return to the historic California track for the 12th time during its 25th anniversary year!
