Feature Miss Alibi, Ms Eaves Top Merial Les Bois Distaff Qualifiers

BOISIE, ID—JULY 23, 2014—Jordan Hadley road multiple stakes-placed Feature Miss Alibi to the top qualifying mark for the Merial Les Bois Distaff Challenge on Wednesday evening at Les Bois Park.

To 10 fastest AQHA Challenge enrolled fillies and mares, form the two trial races contested Wednesday, will faceoff Saturday, August 9th in the $17,500-added finale at 400 yards. The winner will also earn a starting spot in the $125,000 Guaranteed Merial Distaff Challenge Championship (G1) October 18th as part of the Bank of America Challenge Championship Night at Prairie Meadows.

Susan Hadley conditions the Utah bred Feature Miss Alibi for owner/breeder Tony Greaves. The 5-year-old Feature Mr Jess mare completed the 400 yard course in :19.715 seconds, a 97 speed index. It was the fourth career win for the mare out of Alibi Fame, by Dash Ta Fame.

Texas-bred Ms Eaves posted the second fastest clocking of :19.787 seconds, a 96 speed index, following a neck win in the first trial over Tarry. Leading trainer Monty Arrossa saddled the multiple stakes-placed Tres Seis 4-year-old out of Little Ms Tuff Stuff, by Chicks Beduino. Gerardo Prado owns the Christine Hudson-bred earner of $46,538. Cesar DeAlba rode the five-time winner.
