Steinway Ivory is trained by Mark Hanson. Cody Jensen, the reigning AQHA champion jockey, has been named to ride the gelding in Wednesday’s trial.

Betsy Lou Whipple’s Hiko Hellion, a homebred gelding by Desirio trained by Bret Vickery, will be making his first start since April 19, when he scored a half-length win in the 300-yard, $23,000 Dixie Downs Futurity in Utah. Hiko Hellion drew post 5 and will be ridden by Jose Figueroa in the third trial.

The 10 fastest qualifiers from Wednesday’s trials will meet in the August 9, $15,000-added John Deere Les Bois Juvenile Challenge final.
