AURORA, CO—JULY 19, 2014—Coming off a win in the Pen Pal Stakes just two week ago, Agillion broke on top and held throughout in the $18,600 American Flyer Bonus Challenge Stakes on Saturday at Arapahoe Park, defeating Rock That Wagon by a neck for the second straight time. Built Tough Enough finished three-quarter back in the show position.

Ridden by jockey Edwin Pena, Agillion completed the 350 yards in :17.522 seconds, earnings a 95 speed index into a 17 mph headwind. The $11,160 winner's purse boosted the Carters Cartel gelding's earnings mark to $83,942.

Zachary Quezada trains the 4-year-old for owner Samuel Jaquez. It was the sixth career win in 20 starts for the Henry E. Brown Oklahoma-bred out of My Streakin Heart, by Streakin Six. The multiple stakes winner's record stands at (20) 6-4-2.

Pedro and Lila Andazola own Rock That Wagon who also fell short by a neck to Agillion in the June 22nd Pen Pal Stakes. Enrique Rios saddled the Pyc Paint Your Wagon 6-year-old out of First Tea Rose, by First Down Dash. Adrian Ramos was aboard the Texas-bred who pushed his earnings over $96,800 with the $3,720 second place check. Bob and Jerry Gaston is the breeder.

Making his second start as a 4-year-old Built Tuff Enough bobbled the start when he broke out under jockey Travis Wales. Rudy Ramirez conditions the multiple stakes winner at Arapahoe Park for himself, Larry and Michelle Rice. Jim Helzer bred the five-time winner in Texas by Mighty Invictus from the Thoroughbred mare Inomuff (TB), by Starvinsky (TB). He has eared $105,722 to date.
