AQHA Racing World Champion Sire Winners Award Returns to US

MERCEDES, TX--FEBRUARY 12, 2018--AQHA Racing World Champion sire Winners Award SI 99 is joining the stallion roster at RGV Equine Services Rio Rico Ranch near Mercedes, Texas. His 2018 fee has been set at $800 with stakes and multiple mare discounts.

The son of former leading sire Runaway Winner had stood in Canada most recently. He is owned by the Winners Award Partnership.

From a limited number of starters, in nine crops to reach racing age, Winners Award is the sire of 40 winners, 7 stakes horses, 1 world champion with earnings in excess of $1.4 million and average earnings per starter of more than $19,100.

At the racetrack, Winners Award won or placed in eight of 18 career starts and earned $80,148. He won the TQHA Sires' Cup Stakes and was third in the Dash For Cash Derby(G1). He also was a finalist in the Ruidoso Futurity(G1), Texas Classic Derby(G1), Ruidoso Derby(G1), All American Juvenile Invitational (RG3), TQHA Classic(RG3), West Texas Juvenile Invitational and Santa Rosa Handicap.

His sire, Kindergarten Futurity(G1) winner Runaway Winner SI 103 ($396,410) is the sire of 65 stakes winners, 2 champions with earnings of more than $13.7 million including Treacherosuly SI 103 (champion, $622,004) and Deceptively SI 105 (champion-twice, $297,001), etc.

Winners Award's dam is the stakes winning Special Leader mare Sweet Miranda SI 95 ($17,330), dam of 2 foals, 2 stakes winners including Winners Award SI 99 (see above) and Winning Awards SI 115 ($33,189).

The second dam is stakes winner and multiple stakes producer Lucks Fame SI 98, by What Luck (TB). She is a sister to stakes winners Distinctively SI 99 and Ima Ready SI 96, etc.

Grade 2-Placed Classified Bull Joins Rio Rico Stallion Roster

In addition to Winners Award, the Grade-2 placed stallion Classified Bull will also stand his 2018 season at RGV Equine Services Rio Rico Ranch. Property of JM Performance Horses, his fee has been set at $800.

Classified Bull SI 110 won or placed in 22 races and banked $76,802. He was second in the Manor Downs Handicap and third in the Texas Juvenile Challenge(G2). Classified Bull was also a finalist in the Grade 1 Texas Championship Challenge, Grade 1 Sam Houston Championship Challenge and Grade 2 Longhorn Derby. He set a new track record at Retama for 330 yards in :16.600 seconds.

From a limited number of starters, in five crops to reach racing age, Classified Bull is the sire of 10 winners (67%) with average earnings per starter of $8,806. His top performers include Classified Superbull SI 102 (4 wins, $41,943), Classified Bulls Eye SI 96 (4 wins, $19,895), Classified Red Bull SI 93 (3 wins, $18,738), Bullys Sassy Cuervo SI 92 (3 wins, $14,780), Bullys Bad Assets SI 92 (Winner, $10,930), etc. Classified Bull is the AQHA Racing Champion son of Triple-Crown Winner/World Champion Special Effort, Bully Bullion SI 103 ($225,384).
