BERINO, NM—MAY 23, 2017—Last year's leading first crop sire Zulu Dragon SI 102 has booked full at a fee of $6,000 for the 2017 season at Bar Y Equine near Berino, New Mexico.
Currently Zulu Dragon is the #3 leading second crop sire of money earners this year. In only two crops to race and 12 starters, he has sired 5 winners, 2 stakes winners, earners of $951,903 and average earnings per starter of nearly $80,000.
His 3-year-old daughter, 10-time winner Running Dragon, is currently the leading money earning older Quarter Horse of 2017 with a perfect 3-for-3 record.
