WAYNE, OK—SEPTEMBER 29, 2014—First Timber SI 98, a multiple stakes siring son of world champion Oak Tree Special from the leading sire line in the industry, will stand the 2015 season at James Ranch, near Wayne, Oklahoma. An introductory fee has been set at $1,250.

Owned by Wesley T. Oulton, the Grade 1 finalist won two of six starts and qualified to the $1.06 million All American Derby(G1) at Ruidoso Downs. He earned $46,029.

From limited starters, in three crops to race, First Timber has sired 19 winners, 3 stakes horses, with average earnings per starter of $16,200 per head.

His top performers include two-time stakes winner and G3-placed Droppin Timber SI 101 (6 wins to 3, 2014 $117,768), James Isaac Hobbs Stakes(G2) runner-up Big Sluggo SI 98 (3 wins to 4, $53,982), Canada Quarter Horse Futurity winner Cruisinfourabruisin SI 90 (4 wins at 2, 2014 $47,526), Miss Chrome First SI 101 (4 wins to 4, $47,795), Susies Timber SI 98 (3 wins to 3, $44,502), Bur Oak SI 92 (2 wins to 3, $30,648), etc.
