All American Futurity Winner Mr Piloto Gets First Stakes Winner

OPELOUSAS, LA—JULY 30, 2014—All American Futurity(G1) winner and first crop sire Mr Piloto sired his first stakes winner July 6 when A Remarkable Perry won the $30,000(US) Clasico Jodys Glory Stakes in Mexico.

Owned by Luis Miguel Albores Gleason of Miami, Florida, A Remarkable Perry was a one length winner in the Clasico Jodys Glory while completing the 350 yards in :17.660 seconds. A winner in two official starts at 2, the brown colt has earned $18,462(US). Francsco Clorado Cessa bred A Remarkable Perry in Oklahoma from the First Down Dash mare Dashing Little Reba.

From a limited number of starters in his first crop Mr Piloto has sired two winners, 1 stakes winner including A Remarkable Perry SI 83 (winner at 2, $18.462, Clasico Jodys Glory), Pay Me Diamonds SI 95 (Winner, $14,885 at 2, finalist TQHA Sale Futurity), Spicy Piloto (placed in 3 of 5 starts at 2, $5,066, finalist TQHA Futurity), Featuring One (placed at 2, $3,730), etc.

Mr Piloto is currently 6th on the Leading First Crop Sires by Money Earners list for 2014.

Owned by Grant Farms, LLC Mr Piloto won two of four starts at 2 including the Grade 1 All American Futurity. He has earned $1,002,250.

The son of leading sire Mr Jess Perry is out of the stakes winning Splash Bac mare Ms Pilot Point ($73,706) and is a half-brother to Grade 1 placed Point Break Dash ($413,127 to 4, 2014). The second dam is the multiple stakes producing On A High mare Dancing Tonight, dam of G3 winner Jls Party Wagon ($147,808), G3 winner Jls Streak of Snow ($121,362), etc.
