Pyc First Prize Fany Retired, Purchased by Bob Moore Farms
Multiple stakes-placed Pyc First Prize Fany has been retired from racing and bred to champion FDD Dynasty for her first foal.

NORMAN, OK—APRIL 22, 2014—Multiple stakes-placed Pyc First Prize Fany SI 98 was recently purchased by Bob Moore Farms. The daughter of leading sire Pyc Paint Your Wagon has been retired from the track and bred to champion sire FDD Dynasty, a champion son of First Down Dash standing at their Norman, Oklahoma facility.

Pyc First Prize Fanny won four of nine career starts to 3, earning $92,303. She finished second in the South Florida Derby in her last start, February 23, and was also third in the Governor's Stakes last fall.

The bay miss is out of the Mr Jess Perry mare, First Prize Fancy SI 96 who produced Saturday's $861,000 Remington Park Futurity(RG3) winner Im A Fancy Pyc SI 91 (3 wins in 3 starts, $340,178 at 2, 2014), a full sibling to Pyc First Prize Fany.

First Prize Fancy is a full sister to three Grade 1 winners and one Grade 1 placed runner including Heritage Place Futurity(G1) winner First Carolina SI 106, dam of last year's Remington Park Futurity winner Coronado Cartel SI 96 ($309,428 to 3, 2014).

Additional full siblings include Remington Park Futurity(G1) winners First Prize Leesa SI 106 ($488,270), dam of 2014 Decketta Stakes(G3) winner First Prize Shaunda SI 103 ($125,095 to 4, 2014), First Prize Robin SI 103 ($295,147), and Texas Classic Futurity(G1) runner-up First Prize Perry SI 102 ($243,946).

"This particular family of mares are some of the most sought after in our industry and we were thrilled to have been given the opportunity to purchase First Prize Fany," Bob Moore Farm Manager Phillip Stewart said Tuesday. "She has retired from racing and arrived a little over a month ago joining the Bob Moore Farms broodmare band."

The second dam is former Broodmare of the Year First Prize Dash SI 101, by Dash For Cash, a sister to all-time leading sire and world champion First Down Dash SI 105 ($857,256). Dam of 28 ROM, six stakes winners and four stakes-placed winners, First Prize Dash also produced Heritage Place Futurity(G1) winner Fast First Prize SI 102 ($244,929), Blue Ribbon Futurity(G2) winner and 2013's Leading Sire of Money Earners Heza Fast Dash, Gentilly Dash Stakes winner First Prize Doc SI 108 ($73,700 to 4, 2013), stakes-placed First Prize Paris SI 108 ($92,910), stakes-placed First Prize Timber SI 102 ($56,018), and stakes-placed First Prize Stone SI 98 ($32,633), etc.

First Prize Dash is also the granddam of 2013 Rainbow Futurity(G1) winner Ms First Prize Rose SI 101 ($506,404), 2013 LQHBA Breeders' Futurity(RG1) runner-up First Prize Jet SI 91 ($251,758 at 2) and 2013 Speedhorse Futurity(RG3) winner Spit Like Jagger SI 95 ($105,045), etc.
