WHITESBORO, TX—APRIL 16, 2014—Earlier this month champion/champion sire Separatist progeny earnings mark surpassed the $19 million mark. Semen is available in the US to the leading son of Chicks Beduino at Burns Ranch, near Menifee, California, where he stood his entire US career, or JEH Reproduction Center, near Whitesboro, Texas.

Owned by a syndicate, Separatist 2014 fee is private and horsemen are encouraged to call for more information. Separatist is expected to return to the US later this year from Brazil where he stood the Southern Hemisphere.

From 10 crops to race Separatist is the sire of 594 winners, 51 stakes winners, 75 stakes-placed and earners of more than $19.1 million. His starters have average earnings per starter over $21,000.

Last year he sired G3 stakes winner and track record holder Separatist Firstdown SI 109, a contender for championship honors after being the only two-year-old to win three futurities. In his most recent start the $320,136 earner finished second in the $220,000 Oklahoma Derby at Remington Park on March 22.

Named the 2000 AQHA Racing Champion 3-Year-Old and Champion 3-Year-Old Colt and the 1999 AQHA Racing Champion 2-Year-Old Colt, Separatist won or placed in 20 of 24 career starts, earning $899,044. He won the Governor's Cup Futurity(G1), Golden State Derby(G1), Governor's Cup Derby(G1), California Sire's Cup Futurity(G2), PCQHRA Breeders' Derby(G2), Z Wayne Griffin Director's Stakes(G3) and Jet Deck Handicap. Separatist is out of the blue-hen mare Separate Ways, by Hempen (TB), dam of 16 ROM including champion Way Maker ($617,444), G1 winner and multiple stakes sire Make It Anywhere ($411,006), stakes winner Making Merri ($59,182), stakes-placed Making Ways ($93,894) and Secret Ways ($35,598).
