Relentless Gun Now A Two-Time Stakes Winner, Including Saturday’s $50,000 Easy Jet Stakes

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK— JUNE 1, 2019—Relentless Gun is a 2-year-old gelding any owner would love to have, winning when the large coin is on the line, like Saturday night when he won his second stakes in only four starts, the restricted Grade 3, $50,000 Easy Jet Stakes at Remington Park. The Easy Jet is for 2-year-old Oklahoma breds.

Relentless Gun also won the $100,000 Remington Park Juvenile Stakes on April 20. In his two other starts he ran second in allowance-company and against a futurity trials field. When the bright lights are on, he shines like a diamond.

This 2-year-old gelded son of Hes Relentless, out of the Tres Seis mare CF Smokin Gun, didn’t break well, getting out of the gate eighth in a 10-horse field but soon began rolling, passing every horse in front of him like they were standing still. He got to the wire first by a half-length. Jockey Rolando Raudales never gave up and kept his boot on the gas with the 5-2 wagering favorite. Relentless Gun handled 350 yards over a fast trackin :17.765 seconds.
