ROCK SPRINGS, WY—SEPTEMBER 9, 2018—Vvr Dazzling Corona found her way to the winners’ circle for the tenth time in her career in Sunday’s $9,750 Rock Springs Wyoming Bred Maturity (not black-type). It was the third consecutive win for the 4-year-old filly, who covered the 400-yard race in 19.876 to earn a 96 speed figure.

Vvr Dazzling Corona ($4.80) and jockey Oscar Cervantes led gate to wire as the post-time favorite. She has won half of her 20 career starts, with multiple winning streaks, and has only finished out of the money twice. She is undefeated in four starts at 400 yards.

The multiple stakes winner’s lifetime past performances include the $15,000 Wyoming Bred Derby last fall in Gillette and the $23,000 Wyoming Bred Derby in Evanston. Her career earnings now total $43,577.

Vvr Dazzling Corona is owned by Casey Lipp and was bred in Wyoming by Mike Lipp, by Coronas Velvet, out of the Dash to Chivato mare Dazzling Chivata. She is trained by Skyler Greene.

Ccb First Flyin Fool and Tyson Lusk finished a length behind Vvr Dazzling Corona in second place for trainer Travis Offret. The 5-year-old gelding was bred in Wyoming by his owner, Chelsa Bringhurst, by Fit to Fly, out of Janeys First, by Cashin Man.
