BLACKFOOT, ID—SEPTEMBER 8, 2018—Eastern Idaho State Fair hosted three other non-black type stakes on Saturday's race card in the Blackfoot.

Lee Ward Memorial Maturity

Sign Of Corona, a multiple stakes winning son of Coronas Fast Dash defeated Be Our Honor by three-quarters in the $6,750 Lee Ward Memorial Maturity Saturday.

Mark Hanson trains the 7-year-old for RTM Stables LLC and Carol McKinney. Ridden by jockey Jesus Canales, Sign Of Corona competed the 300 yards in :15.378 seconds, a 102 speed index, to pocket the winner's purse of $3,713. Bred by Greg Creager, from the Vita Sign mare Electric Sign, Sign Of Corona has earned more than $132,000.

Be Our Honor earned $1,687 for second and Jt Easy Bug picked up $1,015 for third.

Eastern Idaho State Fair Overnight Futurity

Idaho Cup Futurity winner Pickle Dilly was a game winner over Sweetheart Sammie in the $4,600 Eastern Idaho State Fair Overnight Futurity (not black type) Saturday afternoon. Zipperdilly finished third.

Jarret Mills conditions Pickle Dilly for owner/breeder David Merritt. The black colt by The Louisiana Cartel from the A Regal Choice mare Dilligass earned $2,530 to boost his record to (7) 2-2-0 with $12,724 in the bank. Leonardo Gonzalez was riding.

Pickle Dilly completed the 350 yards in :17:923 seconds.

Sweetheart Sammie, a daughter of Inseperable, owned by Merlin Sharp and conditioned by Monty Arrossa, earned $1,150 for second. Zipperdilly, a Foose half-brother to winner Pickle Dilly, picked up $690 for third. Also a homebred for Merritt, Zipperdilly is trained by Mills.

EISF Maiden Frolic

Edwinna, a 6-year-old daughter of Breezing Beduino, raced to a 1-˝ length win in the $3,800 EISF Maiden Frolic, not black type. It was the fourth win in nine starts for the Javier Durante owned-and-trained mare out of the Hard Tact mare Hard Cache. Jesus Flores was aboard to clock the 350 yard distance in :18.078 seconds. She earned $2,090.

Neil and Jere Harris' Little Miss Diesel picked up $950 for second. Rodrigo Torres Sr Plain Jane earned $570 for third.
