BLACKFOOT, ID—SEPTEMBER 7, 2018—Kissin Kate Barlow, under jockey Dallas Erickson, went wire-to-wire over 575 yards on Friday when she held off T Heart Tripwire by a neck in the $3,800 Legends Memorial (not black type) at Blackfoot Fair. Louisiana Ladys Man finished 3-˝ lengths off the leaders to get third.

Trainer Denny Talbot saddled the Kissin Kate Barlow for Dawna and Delra Talbot. The daughter of Tr Dasher was hand-timed over the 575 yard distance in :31.340 seconds on a "fast" racing surface.

Bred in California by Giambi Stables LLC, from the Apollo (TB) mare Apollos Winner, the 5-year-old mare has compiled a (22) 5-7-6, and with today's $2,090 winners' purse boosted her earnings mark to $30,395.

Runner-up T Heart Tripwire rallied under jockey Eric Ayala to pick up $950 for second. Trainer Rod Stewart conditions the Azyoucansee 5-year-old for owner/breeder Jackie Ore. Bred in Idaho, from the Charge For Kirk mare Twaynas Charge, the brown gelding has earned $7,660.

The elder statesman in the field, 7-year-old Louisiana Ladys Man, earned $570 for owner Ron Surrage and trainer Justin Thompson when he finished third. Jesus Flores rode the Idaho bred son of multiple stakes sire Jess Louisiana Blue from the Proudest Effort mare Proud Lady Bug. Dean and Colleen Graham bred the earner of more than $20,200.

Green Beret (TB), a Kentucky-bred Keeneland Sales graduate by First Defense (TB), finished fourth.
