AURORA, CO—JULY 27, 2014—Jeffrey and Chris Meyers Thoroughbred Life At Life closed down the stretch to defeat Oh Jess Fly by one-length in the $13,000 Leo Beaudash 870 Stakes at Arapahoe Park Sunday afternoon. E F Five (TB) finished 1¼ lengths back in the show position.

Ridden by Brian Theriot, Laugh At Life completed the course in :45.325 seconds to earn a 99 speed index for the 870 yards. The $7,800 winning purse swells his bankroll to $106,940.

Trainer J. Owen Bringhurst saddled the Got The Last Laugh (TB) 4-yaer-old to his fifth win in 16 career starts. Marie Montgomery-Riggs bred Laugh At Life in Florida from the Clever Trick (TB) mare Naturally Clever (TB).

Graded stakes winner Oh Jess Fly bumped his earnings to $144,149 with the second place check of $2,600. Jose Manuel Barron saddled the Fly Jess Fly 6-year-old for owner Hugo Sierra Barron. Russell Vicchrilli rode the sorrel gelding. Bred in Oklahoma by Weetona Stanley, Oh Jess Fly is from the Dash For Perks mare Oh What A Perks.

Multiple stakes winner E F Five (TB) got up for third under jockey Kelly Bridges. Kenneth Gleanson trains the Oliver's Twist (TB) gelding for owner/breeder Linda Robertson. Out of the Danton (TB) mare Me N Wendi (TB), E F Five (TB) earned $1,300.

Two Violins (TB) was disqualified for interference and moves to fifth behind Cashin The Wagon. Completing the field were Coronas Ice Maiden and Artistic Venture (TB).
